Geometridae
9103427291Rheumaptera undulata (Linnaeus, 1758)
  • Rheumaptera undulata (Linnaeus, 1758), the type species of the genus Hydria where it was placed in Hodges et al. (1983), was transferred to Rheumaptera in Scoble (1999) and then returned to Hydria in Hausmann & Viidalepp (2012). More recently it has been shown in Brehm et al. (2019:S1) to be sister to Rheumaptera hastata (Linnaeus, 1758), the type species of Rheumaptera, based on both mitochondrial and nuclear markers, confirming the synonymy of the genus Hydria with Rheumaptera in Scoble (1999).
  • Barcode of Life (BOLD) - Caution: DNA barcode provides evidence of relatedness, not proof of identification, and some BOLD specimens shown may not be sequenced.
