8003675859.1Dioryctria westerlandi Donahue & Neunzig, 2005
  • Although Donahue & Neunzig (2005) was published subsequent to Donahue & Neunzig (in Neunzig 2003), the use of this name in the latter is unavailable for not complying with ICZN Articles 16.1 and 72.3 and is therefore nomen nudum (Alma Solis, pers. comm., 18Jan2024) (Pohl & Nanz 2025). This name was erroneously listed with 2002 as the publication year in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023) following Neunzig (2003) who cited Donahue & Neunzig (2002), Holarctic Lep., 8: 33-36, a publication delayed until 2005. In correcting this error, Pohl & Nanz (2025) misspelled both names as "westlanderi".
