  • nitidana of Zeller, 1875; (not Clemens, 1860) (Exartema) misid.
  • zelleriana (Fernald, 1882) (Eccopis) nom. nud. - MONA 1983: 2783; Lectotype: Maine.
    Note: Lectotype designated by Miller (1970).
  • Taxonomic Notes: Olethreutes diallacta (Meyrick, 1932) is a replacement name for zelleriana Fernald (preoccupied by zelleriana Erschoff, 1874). Fernald proposed zelleriana for nitidana of Zeller, 1875; (not Clemens, 1860) but his description applied to twos species, one a feeder of Betula alba and another of Viburnum cassinoides.
