Field Marks: |
Dark wing with pale medial fascia.
Caution: all identifications of specimens, including those dissected or DNA barcoded, should be considered tentative. DNA barcoding suggests the possibility of a complex with similar undescribed species. |

- 16a0014 Stigmella nigriverticella: usually has a narrower pale medial fascia. Caution: the type of nigriverticella is missing and the true identity may be uncertain.
