Description/
Field Marks:
"Closely allied to P. salicifoliella Clemens and P. thermopsella Chambers; it differs from the former by the longer more distinct white costal streaks, and shorter more indented white dorsal stripe; from the latter chiefly by the different lengths of the costal streaks and the nearly obsolete second costal streak.” (Braun 1922).
Genitalia: See Kirichenko et al. (2016).
Similar Species:
  • 33a0107 Micrurapteryx salicifoliella: distinguished only by DNA or genitalia.

  • occulta (Braun, 1922) (Parectopa) - MONA 1983: 654; TL: Powell County, KY.
    Note: Formerly in the genus Parectopa (Kirichenko et al. 2016)
