Distribution: Eastern US apparently as far west as OK. (Records from CA likely refer to an undescribed species. Larva and Host Plants: Miner of Vitis vulpina (Frost Grape) and possibly other Vitis species. Similar Species: 33a0382 Phyllocnistis vitegenella Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: vitifoliella Chambers, 1871 (Phyllocnistis) - MONA 1983: 854; TL: "Kentucky. Wisconsin".
