Distribution: Alberta to British Columbia to Montana.  Mountains from treeline to valleys, in dry forests.  Elevations ~ 2,000 - 8,000 ft. Seasonality and Size: Mid-July to late August.  Wingspan ~ 30-36 mm. Similar Species: 931911 Sympistis dentata Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: anweileri Troubridge & Lafontaine, 2008 (Sympistis) - MONA 1983: [NEW]
