Synonymy: maryx (Guenée, 1852) (Ceramica) - MONA 1983: 10268 rubefacta (Morrison, 1874) (Ceramica) vindemialis (Grote, 1875) (Mamestra) Taxonomic Notes: Sideridis maryx: Formerly placed in the genus Trichoclea.
