Distribution: USA: Florida Keys. Genitalia: See Adams (2001). Synonymy: clarescens Möschler, 1890 (Leucania) - MONA 1983: [NEW in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023)]; Lectotype: Puerto Rico - Poole (1989). Taxonomic Notes: Leucania clarescens: Leucania clarescens Möschler, 1890 is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico from the Florida Keys, ZooKeys, 788: 249.
