Similar Species: 933147 Synorthodes auriginea: is smaller, FWL=12-13mm vs. 15-16mm, and overall lighter. The reniform and orbicular are more completely ringed in yellow. The yellow st. line lacks inwardly pointing triangular black spots. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: typhedana Franclemont, 1976 (Synorthodes) - MONA 1983: 10591; TL: Madera Canyon, Santa Rita Mts., Santa Cruz Co., AZ.
