Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: petrella (Busck, 1915) (Gnorimoschema) - MONA 1983: 2045; TL: Hampton, NH. Taxonomic Notes: Scrobipalpopsis petrella (Busck, 1915) was transferred from the genus Scrobipalpopsis to Ptycerata, n. syn., in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). Scrobipalpopsis was elevated back to full generic status in Powell & Povolný, 2001, Holarctic Lepidoptera, 8 (Suppl. 1): 22.
