  • Taxonomic Notes: Chamaesphecia tenthrediniformis ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) was introduced from Europe into the USA in 1975 and into Canada in 1971-1974 for biocontrol of Leafy Spurge (Euphorbia esula); its current population status is uncertain, Harris 1984:163-165 & Winston et al. 2014.
