Synonymy: rufatus Razowski & Brown, 2008 (Episimus)   Type locality: Jamaica, "Portland Parish, 4 mi S Hartford". Taxonomic Notes: Episimus rufatus Razowski & Brown, n. sp., Acta Zool. Cracov. 51B(1-2):99, is now recognized within the North American fauna from Florida, Heppner (2009), Tri-ology, 48(3):2, confirmed by James Hayden.
