Distribution: Florida to North Carolina Description/ Field Marks: See Brown (2019), Zootaxa, 4671(2):195–222 Genitalia: See Brown (2019), Zootaxa, 4671(2):195–222 Similar Species: 51a0133.1 Aethes bomonana: The identities of obliquana and bomonana is unclear and may require further revision. 51a0146.1 Aethes obliquana Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: triassumenta Pogue, in: Brown, 2019 (Aethes) - MONA 1983: [NEW]; TL: Archbold Biological Station, Highlands Co., FL. Taxonomic Notes: Aethes triassumenta Pogue, 2019, n. sp., was proposed by Pogue (1986) as the type for the genus Morta in his unpublished Ph.D. dissertation and is nomen nudum (unavaillable). The name was published in Brown (2019), Zootaxa, 4671(2): 217.
