Synonymy: coronado (Smith & Brock, 1988) (Thessalia) ssp. a. pariaensis (Smith & Brock, 1988) (Thessalia)   Type locality: “Western Texas”. ssp. b. coronado (Smith & Brock, 1988) (Thessalia)   Type locality: “Arizona: Pima County, summit of Redington Pass, 20 km ENE of Tucson, Santa Catalina Mts.”. Taxonomic Notes: Chlosyne coronado (Smith & Brock, 1988), formerly a subspecies of 4506 Chlosyne fulvia (Edwards, 1879), is raised to full species status in Zhang et al. (2020).
