Description/ Field Marks: Warning: examination of genitalia is typically required for species level identification of specimens in all genera of this family. Genitalia: See Proc. Entom. Soc. Wash., 118(3): 325- 329. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: crocea (Braun, 1918) (Exegetia) - MONA 1983: 483; Holotype: Owen River Valley, CA. Taxonomic Notes: Pigritia crocea (Braun, 1918) was formerly in the genus Exegetia, see Adamski & Sohn (2016), Proc. Entom. Soc. Wash., 118(3): 325- 329.
