Distribution: Eastern Colorado north to southern Alberta and east to Nova Scotia (Neunzig 1990).
CAUTION: probably not found in California; all specimens west of the Rockies shown at BOLD and elsewhere (including map above) likely represent misidentifications.
Genitalia: See Heinrich (1956), Neunzig (1990).

  • Taxonomic Notes: Episcythrastis subtetricella (Ragonot, 1889), n. comb. (Leraut 2021). This species was placed at 80a0128 in Myelopsis in the 2023 checklist; it was moved to Episcythrastis in the
    errata, following Leraut (2021).
