Description/ Field Marks: Wing length: males, 10–12 mm; fe- males, 11–13 mm. Males have bipectinate antennae. Similar Species: 91a0695 Psamatodes atrimacularia: males have simple antennae; females are best separated by dissection. Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: pallidata (Warren, 1897) (Xenoecista) - MONA 1983: [NEW] trimaculata (Warren, 1906) (Macaria) - MONA 1983: [6354] Taxonomic Notes: Psamatodes pallidata (Warren, 1897) includes as a synonym Macaria trimaculata (Warren, 1906).
