Synonymy: suspiciosata Dietze, 1875 (Eupithecia) misappl.; TL: "Angeblich [allegedly] California U. St. A.” Taxonomic Notes: Eupithecia suspiciosata Dietze, 1875, a name omitted from Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023) without explanation, is tentatively returned to the Checklist based on clarification in Rindge (1952).
