Elasmia mandela (Druce, 1887) is now recognized within the North American fauna. The nominate race occurs south of the U.S. while E. m. santaana Metzler & Knudson 2011, n. subsp., Zookeys, 149: 60-64, is found in the southern tip of Texas. |
