Distribution: MT, WY, CO, NM, northeastern, AZ, western TX - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: 930087.15 Cecrita lunata: is best separated by genitalia where ranges overlap. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: plumosa (Edwards, 1886) (Lophodonta) - MONA 1983: [NEW]; TL: Denver CO. Taxonomic Notes: Cecrita plumosa (Edwards, 1886), rev. stat. and n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly a synonym of 7993 Cecrita lunata Edwards, 1884 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
