Distribution: Southwestern Utah, southern Colorado to southeastern California, southern Texas and southward. Seasonality and Size: Late July to September. Wingspan ~ 2.6 - 3.3 mm. Similar Species: Euchaetias polingi Cassino, 1928 Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: murina (Stretch, 1885) (Euchaetes) - MONA 1983: 8250 oslari Rothschild, 1910 (Pygarctia) poliochroa Hampson, 1916 (Pygarctia)
