Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: salusalis (Walker, 1859) (Herminia) - MONA 1983: 8378 brevirostralis Grote, 1872 (Renia) Taxonomic Notes: Renia salusalis (Walker, 1859) currently is known to range throughout the southeast but DNA barcoding suggests that specimens from Florida and Alabama may constitute a a separate species. The type locality is unknown so which population would represent the undescribed species is likewise unknown.
