Synonymy:
  • anormalis (Barnes & McDunnough, 1912) (Friesia)
  • Taxonomic Notes: Prosoparia anormalis: Previously treated as a synonym of Prosoparia perfuscaria, but has crisper forewing markings than that species, especially the finely scalloped black pm. line, the antennal pectinations are shorter, and the CO1 base pair sequences of the two species differ by 4%.
