Distribution: Southern New England to Ontario and south to Florida and Texas. Apparently now established in southern California. Larva and Host Plants: Sweet gum. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: abrostoloides (Guenée, 1852) (Ingura) - MONA 1983: 8962 delineata (Guenée, 1852) (Ingura) - MONA 1983: [8963] producta (Walker, 1855) (Edema) Taxonomic Notes: Paectes abrostoloides (Guenée, 1852) includes as a synonym 8963 Paectes delineata in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2015), ZooKeys, 527: 138.
