Distribution: UT, CO, AZ, NM, western TX. Similar Species: 931419.77 Acronicta afflicta 931419.79 Acronicta brumosa 931419.81 Acronicta wiklei Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: liturata (Smith, 1897) (Acronycta) - MONA 1983: [NEW]; TL: Glenwood Springs, CO. Taxonomic Notes: Acronicta liturata (Smith, 1897) is raised from subspecies of 9255 Acronicta brumosa (Guenée, 1852) to full species status in Schmidt & Anweiler (2020), MONA Fascicle 25.4: 137.
