Distribution: Arizona and south. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: sabulosa Felder 1874 (Agarista); Type locality: San Francisco, CA - Todd (1966:12) views the type locality as a likely error albidisca Draudt 1919 (Tuerta) albiplaga Draudt 1919 (Tuerta) insulica Hampson 1909 (Tuerta) noctuiformis Möschler 1890 (Agarista) Taxonomic Notes: Neotuerta sabulosa (Felder, 1874) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico (Arizona).
