Distribution: USA: TX amd possibly FL. Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Boraginaceae.  Host genera: Cordia Ehretia.  (Shropshire & Tallamy 2025 [accessed 6xii2025]) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: cordiella (Busck, 1934) (Acrocercops) n. comb. - MONA 1983: [NEW]; TL: Santiago de las Vegas, Cuba. Taxonomic Notes: Dialectica cordiella (Busck, 1934), n. comb., was formerly in the genus Acrocercops (Eiseman & Davis in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). This species is reported from TX and possibly FL.
