Synonymy: cockerella (Busck, 1903) (Abebaea) - MONA 1983: 2373   Type locality: MesillaPark, NM. heteraula (Meyrick, 1927) (Melitonympha) n. syn. (Clarke 1965)   Type locality: Alpine, TX.   Note: Synonymy apparently overlooked in Hodges et al. (1983) (Sohn in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023).
