Larva and Host Plants: Black Huckleberry (Gaylussacia baccata) Similar Species: C. instrutana (Clemens, 1865), currently treated as a synonym of Celypha cespitana, a species currently treated as extralimital to NA in Gilligan et al. (2020), if elevated to full species, could become synonymized with O. baccatana with instrutana having priority. This synonymy appears to be supported by DNA barcode. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: baccatanum (McDunnough, 1942) (Exartema) - MONA 1983: 2813   Type locality: South March, ON.
