Distribution:	USA: southern TX north to Galveston.
Similar Species:	57a0044 Norape cretata: reported as far south as Corpus Christi, TX, has white legs, not black as in N. virgo. 57a0045 Norape sorpresa: is found in Arizona; tarsi banded; gray shade of basal half of the ventral forewing costa, lacking in similar species.
