Larva and Host Plants: |
Moria Robinson reports: Found in 5th instar on foliage of Eriodictyon californica, but it was never observed eating. Aestivated along midrib of E. californica leaves for more than 1 month, and is extremely cryptic in that position. From these observations, I believe E. californica is the host, but from a brief lit. search, I could not find E. californica host records for Hellinsia. |
