Synonymy: stramineus Walsingham 1880 (Lioptilus) - MONA 1983: 6205; Type locality: Siskiyou Mountains, OR Taxonomic Notes: Hellinsia stramineus (Walsingham, 1880), rev. stat. (Matthews in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023), was treated as a synonym of Hellinsia pectodactylus (Staudinger, 1859) in Gielis (2003).
