Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: minutulella Hulst 1887 (Dioryctria); Type locality: Texas coniella Ragonot 1887 (Myelois) minutularia Hulst 1887 (Dioryctria) nefas Dyar 1922 (Rampylla) Taxonomic Notes: Myelopsis minutulella (Hulst, 1887) is restored as the valid name. This species was erroneously listed in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) as "5719 minutularia (Hulst, 1887)" with "minutulella (Hulst, 1890)" as a synonym. Originally described as "minutularia", the spelling was changed to "minutulella" on the corrections page of same work.
