| Synonymy: |
subtetricella (Ragonot, 1889) (Myelois) - MONA 1983: 5718; TL: North America.obnupsella (Hulst, 1890) (Myelois); TL: Canada.zonulella (Ragonot, 1889) (Myelois); TL: north Illinois. |
| Taxonomic Notes: |
Myelois subtetricella Ragonot, 1889, rev. comb. (Heppner 2025) reverses (Leraut 2021) who placed this species in the genus Episcythrastis. Heppner found that Episcythrastis is strictly confined to Africa. Subtetricella was placed at 80a0128 in Myelopsis in the 2023 checklist following Neunzig (1990) and then moved to Episcythrastis at 80a0129.5 in the errata, following the treatment by Leraut. |
