Distribution: Apparently widespread, Nova Scotia to Saskatchewan south to Mississippi and Oklahoma, based on DNA barcode. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: borealis Neunzig 1988 (Salebriaria); Type locality: Lake Kejirnkujik, Queens Co., Nova Scotia Taxonomic Notes: Salebriaria borealis Neunzig, 1988, n. sp., N.C. Agr. Res. Serv. Tech. Bull., 287: 1-95.
