Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: tarmitalis Hulst 1886 (Pempelia) termitalis Munroe 1983 (Nephopterix) Taxonomic Notes: Sciota tarmitalis (Hulst, 1886) corrects spelling of termitalis in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). This species was transferred from the genus Nephopterix, MONA Fascicle 15.5.
