Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: fraudifera Heinrich 1956 (Nephopteryx); Type locality: Holotype: Oliver, BC Taxonomic Notes: Sciota fraudifera (Heinrich, 1956), formerly a race of 5790 Sciota delassalis (Hulst, 1886), is elevated to full species in Neunzig (2003), MONA Fascicle 15.5.
