    Taxonomic Notes: Stylopalpia luniferella (Hampson, 1901) corrects spelling by Heinrich (1956) and Munroe (1995a) of lunigerella. This species is now recognized among the North American fauna north of Mexico (Florida), 1987 Season Summary, News Lepid. Soc. 30(2): 36.
