  • excantalis Hulst 1886 (Anerastia); Type locality: California
  • Taxonomic Notes: Megasis perfuscalis (Hulst, 1886) was formerly listed listed in the genus Sarata, a name synonymized with Megasis in Leraut (2021). This treatment was overlooked by Scholtens & Hayden (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). Treated as "valid unassociated female" in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), this species is regarded as vilid in Neunzig (2003) with description of the male.
