  • Taxonomic Notes: Zophodia grossulariella (Hübner, [1809]): "Leraut (2021) recognized the subspecies robineaui Leraut, 1997 (TL: France) and three Nearctic subspecies, as well as the nominate subspecies as a Holarctic entity. Genetic data suggests that Nearctic populations are distinct, and that “true” subspecies grossulariella probably does not occur in NA. However, we continue to treat them all under the species Z. grossulariella (with no subspecies), pending further research."(Pohl & Nanz 2025)
