Distribution: USA: Florida. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: acamasalis (Walker, 1859) (Zebronia)   Type locality: India (Hindustan, "Hindostan"). flexissimalis (Walker, 1866) (Botys) perspicualis (Walker, 1866) (Zebronia) strangulalis (Snellen, 1880) (Heterocnephes) Taxonomic Notes: Chabula acamasalis (Walker, 1859), a non-native species from Asia, is recognized within the North American fauna (Hayden 2022); two photo records in 2020 and 2022 and one specimen record in late 2022 from Florida.
