Description/ Field Marks: Palpita freemanalis has two distinct forms. The early spring form is dark brownish grey and larger than the yellowish orange summer form. ~ Jim Vargo Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: freemanalis Munroe, 1952 (Palpita) - MONA 1983: 5225   Type locality: Holotype: Brownsville, TX.
