Distribution: USA: AZ, western TX (BOLD). Similar Species: Psara obscuralis (Lederer, 1863) is an eastern species whose range appears to end in central TX. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: dryalis (Walker, 1859) (Botys) - MONA 1983: 5269   Type locality: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
