Distribution: FL but apparently spreading north to SC and west to TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: charesalis (Walker, 1859) (Botys)   Type locality: Borneo. argillitis (Turner, 1937) (Sylepta [sic]) delhommealis (Legrand, 1966) (Psara) molusalis (Walker, 1859) (Botys) vetustalis (Strand, 1918) (Lampridia) Taxonomic Notes: Nacoleia charesalis (Walker, 1859) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico (Florida), News Lepid. Soc. 57(1): 8-10.
