Description/ Field Marks:	Males have simple antennae.
Similar Species:	91a0694 Psamatodes pallidata: males have bipectinate antennae; females are best separated by dissection. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:	atrimacularia (Barnes & McDunnough, 1913) (Macaria) - MONA 1983: [NEW] trimaculata of authors; (not Warren, 1906) (Macaria)
Taxonomic Notes:	Psamatodes atrimacularia (Barnes & McDunnough, 1913) is returned to full species status from synonymy of Psamatodes pallidata (Warren, 1897) in Ferguson (2008).
