Synonymy: astapa Druce 1892 (Azelina) - MONA 1983: 6748; Type locality: Lectotype: Presidio, Mexico egregiata Pearsall 1906 (Stenaspilates) Taxonomic Notes: Pero astapa (Druce, 1892) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico (Hidalgo Co. and Starr Co., TX), 2013 Season Summary, News Lepid. Soc. 56(S1): 100.
