Distribution: Southwestern AZ, southeastern CA and adjacent NV, Am. Mus. Novit., 2595: 10. Description/ Field Marks: Sexually dimorphic, see Am. Mus. Novit., 2595: 1-27. Genitalia: See Am. Mus. Novit., 2595: 1-27, figs. 9 (♂), 29 (♀). Similar Species: Plataea blanchardaria is from TX. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: calcaria (Pearsall, 1911) (Apicrena) - MONA 1983: 6921 dulcinia Dyar, 1923 (Plataea) triangularia Barnes & McDunnough, 1916 (Plataea)
