Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae.  Host genera: Erigeron.  (Shropshire & Tallamy 2025 [accessed 6xii2025]) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: kuschea (Guedet, 1939) (Semiothisa) - MONA 1983: 6418; Holotype: Chiricahua Mountains, Cochise Co., AZ. Taxonomic Notes: Metrica kuschea (Guedet, 1939), n. gen. and n. comb. in Matson (2022), Zootaxa, 5093(1) 67-74, was formerly misplaced in the genus Semiothisa. Metrica is palced in the tribe Ennomini.
