Distribution: Central and southern AZ - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: zethus (Druce, 1898) (Dasylophia) - MONA 1983: 8000   Type locality: Jalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.
